She looks after all of her siblings and her cousin and this tendency has stretched out to others as well. She's inherited her mother's tendency to fuss. She's determined and hardworking but still knows how to have fun. She loves dancing, but sees it as a hobby instead of as a career. Liv is friendly and personable, people feel naturally drawn to her. She's a girly girl to the core and loves to dress up and shop. She also attends yoga classes.top Appearance Blond, slender and leggy, Liv leans towards average height. Her long hair is always styled nicely, her hair and eyes can light up a room and she's always been told that she had a beautiful face. A stylish business girl, she's always well put together no matter where she is and always seems to carry herself with a certain air of confidence. . Liv grew up as the eldest of the Reed children, and one of the most protective, Like her siblings that followed her, Olivia was lucky to be born into privilege, with a sizable inheritance. Because of this they were sent to the best private schools and given the opportunity to follow their dreams, whatever they may be. However, both parents instilled a work ethic in their children. Like all of the Reed siblings, Liv started dance classes in preschool, and was required to continue until she was at least 12 years old. It was Mrs. Reed's belief that dance was the perfect training for both the body and soul. And perhaps, in some distant way, she knew inside that all her children were born to dance. Every Reed sibling was in fact a Dancing Princess in another life. Liv was only eight when Chance brought Ryder into their lives and he became a surrogate brother to her. top Chicago and Lakeside Preparatory Academy Liv was popular and well liked in high school. She danced through her senior year and won Prom Queen. She was accepted into Boston University where she decided to study business. It was hard for her to be separated from her siblings and she decided after college she would head back to Chicago. During her junior year, she helped her brother Chance in his decision to leave Northwestern for art school and told him that she would help him run his studio. In Boston she also befriended her roommate Eliza Stone and they've been best friends ever since. Liv attended grad school at the University of Chicago while setting up the preliminary work for Worn Slippers with Chance.top Worn Slippers  Liv's ex-boyfriend Todd Traynor (Brandon Routh) broke her heart when he left Chicago. While Liv was helping Chance set up Worn Slippers, she dated Todd Traynor, an engineering grad student. She was smitten with his good looks and sweet charm, and while he wasn't her first boyfriend, he was her first time. Todd was given the working opportunity he couldn't refuse and asked Liv to go to New York with him, with the understanding that he'd propose if she went. Liv couldn't bring herself to leave her family again or abandon Chance and Worn Slippers and Todd left without her. Liv was crushed and buried herself in the studio. Todd usually shows up to see her every three months or so, his trips putting Liv through an emotional mess.top What's the Story Introduction Liv was brought in replacing Katherine Reed, the original eldest Reed sibling. The first thread with Liv involved her and Ryder plotting to set up Chance with Cassie Mathews. top Family Reunion & Romance  Detective Gavin Maguire (Jamie Bamber), Liv's new romantic interest. During Christmas break, tragedy struck the Reeds as their father's brother Derek was killed in a car accident. Their cousin Rory was sent to live with them and the Reed siblings discovered she was another (but rather reluctant) dancing princess. Liv and Chance have tried to help her find her place iun the family but Liv understands it's a struggle for Rory who misses London. Romance came for Liv when she locked herself out of her car during yoga and was saved by Detective Gavin Maguire, also a Story. The next week, Liv slipped on ice coming out of yoga and Gavin came to ger rescue again, this time asking her out. Liv has been smitten with him ever since, slightly to the dismay of her brother who doesn't know how to be scary protective of her with an ex-marine and cop like Gavin. top Storylines (Based on Dido songs) Look No Further: The one special guy.
